One of the reasons I wanted to learn to fly is so I could get what every pilot alive calls the "$100 Hamburger." One of the places I want to do that is Patti's Settlement at Grand Rivers, Kentucky.
Patti's Settlement is a collection of restaurants, each with their own unique character: Patti's 1880's, Mr. Bill's, and the Iron Kettle. In addition to the restaurants there are all kinds of activities for the family. It really looks like a great place to spend the day!
You can fly into the Kentucky Dam State Park Airport (M34) and they'll pick you up as courtesy transportation is provided. If you're lucky, you'll even get to ride in a vintage convertible roadster!
