My name is Paul Chaney, and I'm a 49 general aviation pilot who loves all things flying. But, there's more to the story...

I've wanted to fly almost my entire life. Yet, for one reason or another, never took the time to learn. After reaching my forties I realized that if I was ever going to do it, it had better be now. I started in August of 2003, and took my checkride October 6, 2004.

I'm also principal of Radiant Marketing Group, a business blog consultancy, and president of the Professional Bloggers Association. I guess you could say blogging is my life. But, aviation is my hobby, and I crave every opportunity I get to take to the skies!

I make my home in Tupelo, Mississippi, which happens to be the birthplace of Elvis Presley. I fly out of Tupelo Regional airport and use Southernaire as my FBO.

I look forward to interacting with you, and hope to learn as much or more from you seasoned veterans as I might ever hope to teach you via this blog. Let's just have some fun, and advance the sport of aviation.
