Black Hawk Pilot Buried
About 400 people filled St. James Cathedral in Townsville, northern Queensland on Friday, to say goodbye to Black Hawklinks pilot Captain Mark Bingley, 35, who was killed when his helicopter fell off the HMAS Kanimbla into the ocean near Fiji on November 29.

Captain Bingley had served in the Australian military for 16 years, including stints in East Timor, Cambodia and Solomon Islands. During his service, he was awarded the United Nations Medal for service in Cambodia and East Timor, the International Forces East Timor Medal, the Australian Active Service Medal, the Defence Long Service Medal and the Australian Defence Medal.

Special Air Service Regiment soldier Joshua Porter remains missing after the accident and is presumed dead.
