CIRRUS SR22-G2

I have to admit, I lust for one of these. If I ever get rich, which is doubtful, I'm going to buy one. Maybe its the glass cockpit, the elegant apportions, 310-horsepower engine that lets you climb like a bat out of hades, the joystick controls, or the fact the thing has a parachute built right in! Whatever it is, I WANT ONE!! Of course the nearly $200,000 price tag will probably keep me from it.

Cirrus has a tour going on right now, the Cirrus Road Show. Throughout the year, they are making special appearances with their 18-wheeler that holds a complete fuselage. You can crawl up inside the thing and get a sense of what it feels like to fly the plane.

Oh, if I only had a rich aunt!
