Aviator_s_Guide_lists_12 fly-in fishing destinations in its July/August edition. These include such outposts as Gaston's White River resort in arkansas, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa
in Pennsylvania, and the Lawn Lake resort in Wisconsin.
Let me add another one to the list, Pickwick Landing State Park near Savannah, Tennessee. The airport, Savannah/Harden County (KSNH), is located just minutes away from the park, which offers a number of ammenities including a really nice lodge, restaurant, golf, cabins, boating, swimming, and, yes, fishing. Crappie, bass, catfish, sauger, walleye, bluegill, stripes, and more are in abundance. Boat rental is available too at the marina.
