It's getting more expensive to fly. With the cost of oil well over $100.00 a barrel with no sign of going down, you can expect to (continue to) pay out the back-side to keep your bird in the air. While prices of aviation fuel around (or just over) $5.00 a gallon already, we can expect a pricey increase over the next couple of years as predictions are being made of $200.00 a barrel for oil. That will effectively double the price of aviation fuel.
I wonder of anyone is developing a hybrid airplane. Wouldn't that be scary. At least I can be thankful I don't have to run aviation fuel in my ATV! It's already hard enough to get out for a weekend!

There is a guy at thw Orlando Apopka Airport Al aden Thats developed a 172 with a corvette engine thats super quite and gets great gas mileage you can find him at www.orlandoapopkaairport.com A video of his plane is on the web site

This is interesting, but my first thought is that if you own an airplane, you can probably afford the fuel.

That’s not a big deal to afford oil if you had own airplane, if i can buy airplane then i think i had enough money to take it on sky and that’s I'm gonna do it just after my exams.
