Ever heard of a plane called "Jay Jay?" How about Tarrytown airportlinks? I promise you won't find it on any aeronautical charts, but if you're a preschooler it's a pretty good bet you'll know where to find it. On PBS, the Public Broadcasting System.

"Jay Jay the Jet Plane," is a PBS children's show, and it's landing at air shows nationwide with a stage show, play area and other kid-oriented activities.

The 25-state tour, which kicked off last weekend in Vidalia, Georgia, includes Jay Jay, Brenda Blue and their buddies from Tarrytown Airport, the setting for the show aimed at pre-schoolers.

A total of 72 air shows are on the "Jay Jay" tour schedule through November. Admission to the activities is free at some locations, with a small fee charged at others.
