Orbitz to Sell Virgin America Tickets
Virgin America tickets are now on sale. And on Thursday, orbitzlinks announced it will begin selling its tickets on orbitz.com and cheaptickets.com.

The airline said Thursday it's ready to start selling tickets, though it still doesn't yet have federal regulatory approval to begin operations. Virgin America hopes to begin service in August with San Francisco-New York and San Francisco-Los Angeles routes.

The inaugural flights will include live entertainment and celebrities, including Virgin Group founder Richard Branson. Branson's Virgin Group Ltd. is among Virgin America's primary backers.

Virgin America plans to be a low-fare carrier, while still offering leather seats, online chat rooms and other services. First class will also offer massage chairs.

The airline also said tickets could be obtained through its Web site at virginamerica.com and through its customer service line, 877-359-8474.
