The internet is a wonderful thing, don't you agree? One resource I've found that helps me immensely with flightlinks planning is AOPA's real-time flight planner. With it you can plan your flight completely online. It involves a simple four-step process:

First, you get your weather updates online.

Second, look up airport and FBO information from the AOPA's comprehensive online airport resource, which is updated every business day. You can print airport information in kneeboard format.

Third, you plan your route using AOPA's flight planner, which is a free download to your desktop. It gives you TFR info and the latest weather updates.

Fourth, prepare for take off by checking the flight planner just before you go to get the most updated info.

Since I practically live online, this system works very well for me. Give it a try and let me know how you like it.
