The sixteenth annual Women in Aviation International conference drew about 2,800 attendees to Dallas recently.

The organization gave out $517,000 in scholarships to 55 individuals during the conference, which was held March 10 through 12. Next year's conference is slated for March 23 through 26 in Nashville, Tennessee.
